Bio-Systems Summer School, Beijing 2006
This summer school is organized by the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces (MPI) in collaboration with the Institute of Theoretical Physics (ITP) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Beijing.
The summer school will take place from 25 Sept - 6 Oct 2006 in a beautiful resort called Xiangshan (Fragrant Hills) Park.
The interdisciplinary topics that will be covered during this school are:
Each topic will be addressed by two or three lecturers, who will cover both theoretical and experimental aspects.
We welcome applications from both inside and outside China. The students should have a strong interest in interdisciplinary topics at the boundary of physics and biology. We encourage applications from students who are still involved in the MSc or Diploma studies or who have just finished their university studies. PhD students are also welcome to apply.
Applications must be received before May 31, 2006, in order to be considered by the selection committee. Applications should be made online.
