Doctoral students already accepted for a PhD position at the MPI or at partner groups
Students that have been already accepted as PhD student in one group of the Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces may apply to be member of the school by sending a request to the coordinator, Dr Angelo Valleriani. IMPRS membership implies the acceptance of the conditions of the school concerning the credit points and other activities. On the other hand, IMPRS students who successfully complete the curriculum and are awarded the doctoral degree will receive the IMPRS certificate that can be included into the CV.

This form will be automatically sent per email to Dr Angelo Valleriani, the coordinator of the school. After a first evaluation you may be invited to send a full application. Furher contacts will follow via email.
The evaluation will take into account your qualification but also the availability of suitable projects.
In case of need, we will also contact you to agree for an interview.
Students accepted to enter the school will receive a stipend of about 1000 EUR/months for the first six months and 1200 EUR/months later if confirmed.
The first six months of study are on a trial period basis and would be extended at the end of the six months if everybody is satisfied.
There are no tuition fees to pay for the IMPRS on Biomimetic Systems. Nevertheless, students enrolled in the school have to enroll at the University in order to get their degree.
