Students interested in applying for the school should first send an enquiry by filling a form providing us the key information.

This form will be automatically sent per email to Dr Angelo Valleriani, the coordinator of the school. After a first evaluation you may be invited to send a full application. Furher contacts will follow via email.

The evaluation will take into account your qualification but also the availability of suitable projects.

In case of need, we will also contact you to agree for an interview.

Students accepted to enter the school will receive a stipend of about 1100 EUR/months. The first six months of study are on a trial period basis and would be extended at the end of the six months if everybody is satisfied.

There are no tuition fees to pay for the IMPRS on Biomimetic Systems. Nevertheless, students enrolled in the school have to enroll at the University in order to get their degree.
